What You Need

  • A Windows computer and the original USB cable
  • Samsung USB Driver installed on the computer
  • Odin flash tool (version 3.14.4 or newer) - see our Odin downloads
  • The firmware file above, extracted with 7-Zip or WinRAR

How to Flash Samsung Galaxy A06 with Odin

  1. Extract the downloaded firmware zip. You will get 5 files: BL, AP, CP, CSC and HOME_CSC.
  2. Install the Samsung USB Driver and restart your computer.
  3. Open Odin as Administrator.
  4. Switch off the phone. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down together and connect the USB cable. When the warning screen appears, press Volume Up to enter Download Mode.
  5. Odin will show "Added!!" and a blue COM port box.
  6. Load the files: BL → BL button, AP → AP button, CP → CP button, CSC → CSC button. (AP file is big, wait until it loads.)
  7. Click Start and wait. Do not unplug the phone.
  8. When Odin shows a green "PASS!", the phone restarts automatically. The first boot takes 5–10 minutes.
Tip: Want to keep your data? Use HOME_CSC instead of CSC. It is useful for updating a working phone, but for bootloop or software problems use the normal CSC for a clean install.

Common Problems and Fixes

  • Odin does not show "Added": reinstall the Samsung USB Driver, change the USB port, and use the original cable.
  • FAIL / SW REV CHECK FAIL: your phone has a newer bootloader. Download firmware with the same or higher binary (the 5th character from the end of the build number).
  • Stuck on logo after flash: enter Recovery Mode (Volume Up + Power with cable connected) and select Wipe data / factory reset.
  • Phone slow after update: the Galaxy A06 has 4 GB RAM in most models. After flashing, let the phone sit for 15–20 minutes so apps finish optimizing, then restart once.
  • Google account verification after reset: this is Samsung's FRP security. Sign in with the Google account that was used on the phone before.
